A credit report is an excellent source of important information about a potential employee. In addition to the candidate’s financial condition, the credit report may show all addresses where a person has resided, their current employer, and any bankruptcies, liens or judgments against a person. Can the person afford to take the position or work for the salary offered? If not, you are giving the candidate an invitation to steal. Get the facts before the candidate is hired.
